Other things to know before you go

Visa Requirements: Most travellers need a US visa (B-2 tourist) or an approved ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) under the Visa Waiver Program to enter the United States. Visa requirements vary by nationality, so please check current entry rules and ensure any required travel authorization is obtained before your tour starts.

Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is required for this tour and must cover your entire journey across the United States. Your Tour Leader will ask for your insurance details on Day 1.

Cross-Country Itinerary & Logistics: Expect scenic coach journeys across vast landscapes. Some days involve long travel segments between distant regions, but the itinerary is paced to balance travel with immersive experiences and expert guidance throughout.

Optional Activities: Optional experiences may include additional excursions, cultural performances and local food tastings. These are available at extra cost and may require advance booking or minimum participation.

Seasonal & Climate Notes: Weather across the USA can vary widely — from warm and dry in desert regions to cooler mountain climates and coastal breezes. Pack for varied weather and changing conditions across states and elevations.

Packing: Pack lightweight, breathable clothing for warm regions, layers for cooler evenings or higher elevations, and comfortable walking shoes for sightseeing and outdoor areas. A hat, sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended. A small daypack and reusable water bottle are useful for long natural park walks and urban exploration.

Solo Travellers: Solo travellers can choose to upgrade to a private room or share accommodation with a fellow traveller of the same gender at no additional cost (subject to availability).
