The Blue City & Imperial Fes: Capture the fairytale charm of Chefchaouen's indigo alleys and step back in time with an exploration of Fes el-Bali, the world’s largest living medieval medina.
Coast to Desert Contrast: Experience Morocco's incredible geographic diversity as you transition seamlessly from the refreshing Atlantic breezes of coastal Essaouira to the golden sands of the deep south.
Visa Requirements: Most travellers need a visa to enter Morocco. Please check your specific visa requirements and ensure any necessary visa is obtained before your tour starts.
Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is required for this tour and must cover your entire journey. Your Tour Leader will ask for your insurance details on Day 1.
Included Costs: Meals include most breakfasts and several lunches/dinners; many entrance fees and optional activities are not included unless stated otherwise.
Desert Experience: A highlight of the itinerary includes desert time near Merzouga, where you’ll experience camel riding and sweeping sand dunes. While there is no overnight traditional camp included on this tour, you’ll still enjoy desert landscapes and activities unique to the Sahara region.
Seasonal & Climate Notes: Morocco’s climate varies widely by region and season: coastal areas tend to be mild, mountain regions can be cool, and the Sahara experiences hot days and significantly cooler nights — especially warm in summer and chilly after sunset in winter. Pack for both warm daytime temperatures and cooler evenings.
Optional Activities: Optional experiences may include camel trekking, cultural performances, local artisan workshops, and special dining experiences. These activities are available at extra cost and may require advance booking or local arrangement during the tour.
Packing: Pack lightweight, breathable clothing for warm days, layers for cooler evenings, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), and comfortable walking shoes. Warm layers are recommended for higher elevations and desert evenings. Swimwear is useful for hotel pool or coastal stops. When visiting religious and historic sites, choose modest clothing to cover shoulders, knees and chest.
Solo Travellers: Solo travellers can choose to upgrade to a private room, or share accommodation with a fellow traveller of the same gender at no additional cost (subject to availability).
