Important Notes
Visa Requirements: Most travellers need an e-visa to enter Turkey. Be certain to apply for and obtain any required visa before your tour starts.
Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is required for this tour and must cover your entire journey. Your Tour Leader will ask for your insurance details on Day 1.
Included Costs: Meals include most breakfasts and several dinners; many entrance fees and optional activities are not included.
Itinerary & Pace: This 12-day land-based adventure travels. Expect some long coach travel days and a full schedule of sightseeing.
Optional Activities: Opportunities for extras include hot-air ballooning in Cappadocia, paragliding in Fethiye, a Bosphorus cruise in Istanbul, or a Turkish bath (hamam). Plan ahead which experiences you want to include, as they are available at extra cost.
Packing: When visiting religious sites, choose modest clothing to cover shoulders, knees and chest; bring a scarf to cover your hair for mosque visits. Also include comfortable walking shoes, layers for variable climates, and swimwear for thermal pools.
Solo Travellers: Solo travellers can choose to upgrade to a private room for extra comfort, or share accommodation with a fellow traveller of the same gender at no additional cost (subject to availability).
