The Coastal Charm of Essaouira: Trade the desert heat for the cool Atlantic breezes of Essaouira, an artistic port city famous for its fresh seafood, ramparts and relaxed medina.
Atlas Mountain Retreat: Journey through the serene and picturesque valley of Ouirgane, offering a tranquil look at traditional Berber mountain life.
Comprehensive Cultural Loop: From northern mountain towns to eastern dunes and western oceans, this tour hits every major facet of Morocco's diverse landscape.
Visa Requirements: Most travellers need a visa to enter Morocco. Please check your specific visa requirements and ensure any necessary visa is obtained before your tour starts.
Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is required for this tour and must cover your entire journey. Your Tour Leader will ask for your insurance details on Day 1.
Included Costs: Meals include most breakfasts and several lunches/dinners; many entrance fees and optional activities are not included unless stated otherwise.
Desert Camp & Accommodation: This tour includes an overnight stay in a traditional Sahara desert camp near Merzouga, featuring simple but comfortable tented accommodation and an authentic desert experience with panoramic dune views around sunset and sunrise.
Seasonal & Climate Notes: Morocco’s climate varies significantly by region and season: coastal areas are often mild, the Atlas Mountains can be cool year-round, and the Sahara desert experiences hot days and cool nights — especially in spring/summer and much colder nights in winter. Pack accordingly for both warm daytime temperatures and cooler nights.
Optional Activities: Opportunities for extras include camel trekking in the Sahara, cooking experiences, quad biking, cultural performances, and local artisan workshops. These activities are available at extra cost and may require advance booking or local arrangement.
Packing: Pack lightweight, breathable clothing for warm days, layers for cooler evenings or desert nights, and comfortable walking shoes. Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) is essential. For the desert camp, bring warm layers even in summer due to cool nights.
Solo Travellers: Solo travellers can choose to upgrade to a private room, or share accommodation with a fellow traveller of the same gender at no additional cost (subject to availability).
