Visa Requirements: Most travellers need a visa to enter Romania. Visa requirements vary by nationality, so please check entry rules for Romania and ensure any required visa is obtained before your tour starts.

Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is required for this tour and must cover your entire journey. Your Tour Leader will ask for your insurance details on Day 1.

Included Costs: Meals include most breakfasts and several dinners; many entrance fees and optional activities are not included unless specifically stated in the itinerary.

Itinerary & Travel Logistics: This tour explores the cultural, historic and scenic highlights of Transylvania, including Bucharest, Brasov, Sighisoara, Sibiu and surrounding countryside. Travel between destinations is by comfortable, air-conditioned coach, with a mix of guided sightseeing, historic landmarks and charming medieval towns.

Optional Activities: Optional experiences may include castle interior visits, local cultural workshops, nature excursions or traditional performances. These activities are available at extra cost and may require advance booking or local arrangement during your tour.

Seasonal & Climate Notes: Romania’s climate can vary by season and elevation. Summers tend to be warm, while spring and autumn can be mild with cool mornings and evenings. In higher elevations or during shoulder seasons, temperatures can drop significantly after sunset. Pack layers to adapt to changing weather.

Packing: Pack lightweight, breathable clothing for warm days, layers for cooler mornings and evenings, and comfortable walking shoes for city tours and historic sites. Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) is recommended during warmer months. For visits to religious or cultural sites, choose modest clothing to cover shoulders, knees and chest.
