Welcome to Morocco! Keep your eyes peeled at Casablanca Airport for the Travel Talk sign for your transfer to the hotel. Freshen up and meet in the lobby around 7:00pm for an informal meeting with your guide and other tour members. Afterwards you have free time to start exploring vibrant Marrakech or go out for an optional group dinner and mingle with fellow travellers.

After breakfast, depart for a scenic northern drive along the coast, stopping first to see the royal landmarks of the imperial capital, Rabat. Continue north through the historic international port city of Tangier along the Strait of Gibraltar, before checking into your relaxing resort hotel base near Tetouan.

After breakfast, depart for a magical day trip into the rugged Rif Mountains to visit the world-famous "Blue Pearl" of Morocco, Chefchaouen. Spend hours wandering through dreamy, completely blue-washed alleyways, vibrant markets and picturesque hidden squares, before returning to your hotel near Tetouan for the evening.

After breakfast, travel south through history by visiting the beautifully preserved ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, famous for its grand archways and detailed floor mosaics. Stop to admire the monumental imperial gates of Meknes before concluding your journey in Fes, the cultural heart of Morocco.

Wear your walking shoes and embark on a cultural journey through the imperial city of Fes. Get to discover all the highlights on an intensive tour with your local guide covering Bab Bouloud Gate (Royal Palace), Bou Inania Madrasa, Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, Quaraouiyine Mosque, Najjarine Square, Spices Market, Terina Madrasa, the surroundings of Karaouine Medina, Mellah (Jewish Quarter), Pottery, and of course the famous Tannery! Share your favourite sites with your mates over dinner and rest up, you’re heading inland tomorrow!

After breakfast, depart from Fes as we begin our journey toward the Mid Atlas Mountains. Our first stop takes us through the scenic mountain passes to the town of Imouzzer Kandar for a brief photo opportunity. Continuing our escape into the Middle Atlas region, we make a panoramic stop at Dayet Aoua, a beautiful lake nestled within lush cedar forests, before climbing past the unexpected, Swiss-style chalet architecture and orderly street layouts of Ifrane. Here, enjoy a stroll through the town center to see its famous stone Lion Statue.

Our path then leads deeper into the vast cedar forests of the Azrou region. Take a short walk among the ancient trees to meet and observe the iconic, wild Barbary macaque monkeys in their natural habitat. From here, we drive through the high mountain plains to the authentic town of Timahdite. Following a brief break, our journey continues with a scenic panoramic drive past the striking gorges, volcanic plateaus, and traditional mountain villages of the Middle Atlas until we reach the Baoulaajoul region. Upon arrival, check into your hotel for dinner and our overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart from your hotel in Boulaajoul as we begin our journey toward the southeast and the gateway of the Merzouga dunes. Traveling through the high plateau landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains, our route offers an impressive transformation as the scenery gradually shifts into a striking desert geography.

Descend from the mountains into the rugged Ziz Valley, one of Morocco's most spectacular natural wonders. Here, vast oasis areas filled with dramatic palm trees stretch out in vibrant green bands that contrast sharply with the arid surroundings. We will make a brief stop at a scenic panoramic viewpoint for photos.

Our path continues through the desert gateway town of Erfoud, world-famous for its fossil stones and marble workshops. The region is a prominent center for processing millions-of-years-old fossils excavated from the surrounding plains and we will take a brief break here depending on our schedule.

In the afternoon, watch the landscape completely transform as you arrive at your desert base amidst the massive, golden Erg Chebbi dunes of Merzouga. Following a short rest at the edge of the sands, the unforgettable dune experience begins for those wishing to explore.

Wake up to the sunrise over the golden sand dunes and take a mental picture to last forever. Have a delicious local breakfast and hop on, you’re going on a 4×4 jeep safari. Enjoy the 4-hour adventure at the astounding desert atmosphere watching the magical landscapes, isolated Berber villages, oases, dunes and real nomads. In the afternoon you can relax by the pool, sand-board or climb high up the sand dunes.

Today, we depart from the desert dunes and travel west toward two of Morocco’s most impressive natural formations: Todra Gorge and the Dades Valley. This route from the rolling sands to the dramatic canyons is one of the most striking segments of the tour, showcasing the incredible geographical diversity of the country. Following an early morning breakfast at the desert camp, we bid farewell to Merzouga. As we travel, the flat, open vistas slowly give way to ancient kasbahs, oasis settlements and rugged rocky terrain as we cross into the foothills of the Atlas Mountains via Tinghir, passing lush date palm groves and traditional village landscapes along the way.

Around midday, arrive at the towering limestone cliffs of the Todra Gorge, world-famous for its sheer, massive rock walls rising over 300 meters high. Enjoy free time to take a spectacular walk along the canyon floor beneath the cliffs, capturing photos along the natural rock formations and the riverbed while soaking in the cool, refreshing atmosphere of the canyon. Following our break, we continue along the winding roads toward the Dades Valley. Travel past winding mountain roads and striking red-toned cliffs as you enter the dramatic landscape of the Dades region, widely known as one of Morocco's most photogenic valleys, arriving at your hotel in the evening to check in, unwind and rest.

After breakfast, depart from your hotel in the Dades Valley as we set out toward Ouarzazate, traveling past striking red cliffs, panoramic valley views and traditional Berber settlements. Travel through the tranquil, green palm groves of the Skoura Oasis, keeping an eye out for ancient, crumbling kasbahs along the roadside. Here, we will visit Kasbah Amridil, one of Morocco's best-preserved and most celebrated kasbahs. Dating back to the 17th century, this impressive structure provides an ideal look into southern Moroccan kasbah life with its historical granaries, olive presses and residential quarters, brought to life through your guide's historical and architectural commentary.

Following our visit, continue your journey to Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Morocco, historically positioned at the crossroads of Sahara caravan routes and famous for its kasbah architecture and cinema industry. Upon arrival in the afternoon, enjoy a short walk through the town center and free time to explore the city's old quarters. You will also have the opportunity to take an optional excursion to visit the Atlas Film Studios to see real movie sets that have served as the backdrop for legendary films like Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven, alongside an exploration of Kasbah Taourirt. Afterward, check into your hotel for an evening of rest.

After breakfast, depart from your hotel in Ouarzazate and set out toward Marrakesh, winding your way from the ancient kasbahs over the majestic mountains to the Red City. Our first major stop is the spectacular fortified Berber village of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This striking mud-brick earthen settlement was historically one of the most vital stops on the old caravan routes, sitting at the heart of trade between the desert regions and the Atlas Mountains. Enjoy a walking tour inside the ksar to explore its traditional clay architecture, defensive structures and ancient residential areas, making this a true cultural highlight of the program.

After exploring the site, cross the high-altitude peaks of the High Atlas Mountains until you reach the winding Tizi n'Tichka pass. Sitting at an elevation of 2,260 meters, this pass offers some of the most dramatic panoramic views of the entire mountain range, where we will make a brief photo stop to take in the scenery. Following the mountain pass, we will break at a local mountain café to rest and enjoy a refreshing cup of traditional Moroccan mint tea, providing a perfect opportunity to unwind during the drive. As we continue, you will catch views of terraced agricultural fields and authentic Berber mountain villages along the roadside while your guide shares commentary on the unique lifestyle and architecture of the region. By late afternoon, arrive in vibrant Marrakesh and transfer to your hotel to settle in for the evening.

After a delicious breakfast, start your discovery with the key sites of bustling Marrakech such as Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace & Dar Si Said Museum. Then hop on board for destination: Essaouira. But first, make a stop at Argan Women Cooperative to learn all about the making of Argan oil. A ‘magical’ product that’s native to Morocco, it is used in delicious meals and extensively in cosmetics. As you arrive Essaouira, you can go out to explore its charming Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Enjoy a free day in this relaxed coastal paradise. Walk along the historic sea ramparts, watch the fishermen bring in their daily catch at the port, explore the car-free medina or listen to live Gnawa music at a seaside café.

Leaving the Atlantic coast of Essaouira in the morning, we journey inland toward the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, heading for the tranquil Ouirgane Valley. As we drive, the sweeping ocean vistas gradually give way to rural countryside dotted with argan trees and rising mountain views. Along the way, you will catch glimpses of small agricultural settlements reflecting traditional Moroccan rural life, while your guide shares insights into the region's geography and local culture.

Around midday, we arrive in the serene Ouirgane region, situated at the base of the Atlas Mountains and known for its exceptional peace and natural beauty. Nestled within national park boundaries, this valley is one of Morocco's lesser-known, most tranquil hidden gems. We will take a short break here, giving you free time to breathe in the crisp mountain air, connect with the rural pace of life and take in the beautiful lake and valley landscapes.

After our mountain retreat, we depart Ouirgane and cross through the Atlas Mountains, continuing our drive toward Marrakesh. From the comfort of the vehicle, you can observe traditional mountain villages and terraced agricultural fields lining the slopes. By late afternoon, we arrive back in the vibrant Red City of Marrakesh for your hotel transfer and a relaxing evening to unwind after a wonderful day of travel.
