Important Notes
Visa Requirements: Most travellers need an e-visa to enter Egypt. Be certain to apply for and obtain any required visa before your tour starts.
Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is required for this tour and must cover your entire journey. Your Tour Leader will ask for your insurance details on Day 1.
Included Costs: Meals include all breakfasts and several lunches/dinners; many entrance fees and optional activities are not included.
Nile Cruise & Domestic Flights: This tour includes an extended cruise along the Nile between Luxor and Aswan, with private cabins and onboard facilities, providing a scenic and relaxing way to explore Egypt’s ancient river heart. Domestic flights between Cairo and Upper Egypt are included to help minimise long road transfers and maximise sightseeing time.
Optional Activities: Opportunities for extras include a sunrise hot-air balloon ride over Luxor, excursions to Abu Simbel, desert jeep or camel safaris, and evening sound & light shows at the Pyramids. Plan ahead which experiences you want to include, as they are available at extra cost and some may require advance booking.
Packing: Pack lightweight, breathable clothing for warm days and layers for cooler evenings, comfortable walking shoes, and swimwear for hotel pools or the Red Sea if included. When visiting religious and cultural sites, choose modest clothing to cover shoulders, knees, and chest; bring a scarf to cover your hair for mosque visits.
Solo Travellers: Solo travellers can choose to upgrade to a private room, or share accommodation with a fellow traveller of the same gender at no additional cost.
