Other things to know before you go

Visa Requirements: Most travellers need a visa to enter Morocco. Please check your specific visa requirements and ensure any necessary visa is obtained before your tour starts.

Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is required for this tour and must cover your entire journey. Your Tour Leader will ask for your insurance details on Day 1.

Included Costs: Meals include most breakfasts and several lunches/dinners; many entrance fees and optional activities are not included unless stated otherwise.

Seasonal & Climate Notes: Morocco’s climate varies by region and season: coastal areas are often mild year-round, mountain areas can be cooler, and the Sahara desert experiences hot days and cooler nights — particularly warm in summer and potentially chilly after sunset in winter. Pack clothing for both warm daytime temperatures and cooler evenings.

Optional Activities: Optional experiences may include camel riding in the desert, cultural performances, local artisan workshops, and traditional dining experiences. These activities are available at extra cost and may require advance booking or local arrangement during your tour.

Packing: Pack lightweight, breathable clothing for warm days, layers for cooler evenings, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), and comfortable walking shoes. For desert stops and higher altitudes, bring warm layers even in summer. Swimwear is useful for coastal or hotel pool stops. When visiting religious and historic sites, choose modest clothing to cover shoulders, knees and chest.

Solo Travellers: Solo travellers can choose to upgrade to a private room, or share accommodation with a fellow traveller of the same gender at no additional cost (subject to availability).
