Visa Requirements: Most travellers need an e-visa to enter Turkey. Be certain to apply for and obtain any required visa before your tour starts.
Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is required for this tour and must cover your entire journey. Your Tour Leader will ask for your insurance details on Day 1.
Included Costs: Meals include all breakfasts and several lunches/dinners; many entrance fees and optional activities are not included.
Gulet Cruise: You will spend 3 nights aboard a traditional Turkish gulet along the Mediterranean coast, visiting bays like Bedri Rahmi and Boncuklu. Cabins are simpler than hotels, and the schedule includes swimming stops and boat transfers.
Optional Activities: Opportunities for extras include hot-air ballooning in Cappadocia, Bosphorus cruising in Istanbul, paragliding in Fethiye, or Turkish baths. Plan ahead which experiences you want to include, as they are available at extra cost.
Packing: When visiting religious sites, choose modest clothing to cover shoulders, knees, and chest; bring a scarf to cover your hair to enter mosques.
Solo Travellers: Solo travellers can choose to upgrade to a private room for extra comfort, or share accommodation with a fellow traveller at no additional cost.
