Other things to know before you go

Visa Requirements: Most travellers can enter Croatia visa-free or with a valid Schengen visa, depending on nationality. Please check the entry requirements for Croatia and ensure any required visa is obtained before your tour starts.

Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is required for this tour and must cover your entire journey. Your Tour Leader will ask for your insurance details on Day 1.

Included Costs: Meals include daily breakfasts and lunches prepared onboard; most dinners, entrance fees, port taxes and optional activities are not included unless specifically stated in the itinerary.

Sailing & Boat Accommodation: This tour is operated aboard a traditional motor cruiser sailing along Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast from Dubrovnik to Split. Cabins are compact and functional, with private bathrooms and air-conditioning. The itinerary includes daily cruising, swimming stops in secluded bays, and time ashore in coastal towns and islands.

Port Fees & Local Payments: A mandatory port and tourist tax is payable locally at the start of the cruise. This covers marina fees and local harbour charges throughout the sailing route.

Optional Activities: Optional experiences may include national park visits, ziplining, rafting, guided city walks, island excursions and special onboard dinners. These activities are available at extra cost and may require minimum participant numbers or local sign-up during the tour.

Seasonal & Climate Notes: This tour operates during the Mediterranean sailing season. Summers are warm and sunny, ideal for swimming and coastal cruising, while spring and autumn offer milder temperatures with cooler evenings. Sea conditions may vary depending on weather.

Packing: Pack swimwear, a beach towel, lightweight clothing for warm days, layers for cooler evenings, and comfortable walking shoes for cobbled streets. Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses) is essential. A light waterproof jacket is recommended.

Solo Travellers: Solo travellers can choose to upgrade to a private cabin or share accommodation with a fellow traveller of the same gender at no additional cost (subject to availability).
