All prices are per person and based on double, twin, or triple share occupancy. Solo travellers who prefer not to pay a single supplement may be paired with another passenger of the same gender, subject to availability.
When you book for two or more passengers, the discounted rates shown below will be automatically applied. Solo travellers can enjoy up to 45% off on select tours.
Visa Requirements: Most travellers need a visa to enter Egypt and may also require a visa for Jordan, depending on nationality. Be certain to apply for and obtain any required visas before your tour starts.
Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is required for this tour and must cover your entire journey through both Egypt and Jordan. Your Tour Leader will ask for your insurance details on Day 1.
Included Costs: Meals include all breakfasts and several lunches/dinners; many entrance fees and optional activities are not included.
Nile Felucca & Ferry Crossing: You will spend two nights sailing the Nile on a traditional Egyptian felucca. Accommodation is simple and shared, with sleeping on deck under the stars and basic onboard facilities. Later in the tour, you’ll cross from Egypt to Jordan by ferry (Nuweiba to Aqaba). Ferry schedules are subject to weather and local conditions, and delays are possible, so flexibility is important.
Optional Activities: Opportunities for extras include a hot-air balloon ride over Luxor, snorkeling or diving in the Red Sea at Dahab, camel trekking in Wadi Rum, and Petra by Night. Plan ahead which experiences you want to include, as they are available at extra cost and some may require advance booking.
Packing: Pack light, breathable clothing for warm days, layers for cooler evenings, swimwear for the Red Sea and Dead Sea, and comfortable walking shoes. When visiting religious sites, choose modest clothing to cover shoulders, knees, and chest; bring a scarf to cover your hair to enter mosques.
Solo Travellers: Solo travellers can choose to upgrade to a private room or share accommodation with a fellow traveller of the same gender at no additional cost.
