Other things to know before you go

Visa Requirements: This tour travels through both the United States and Canada. Most travellers need a US visa (B-2 tourist) or an approved ESTA to enter the United States, and may also require a Canadian visa or eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) depending on nationality. Entry requirements vary, so please check current regulations for both countries and ensure all required visas or authorizations are obtained before your tour starts.

Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is required for this tour and must cover your entire journey across both the United States and Canada. Your Tour Leader will ask for your insurance details on Day 1.

Cross-Border Itinerary & Logistics: This itinerary includes scenic coach travel across eastern North America, crossing international borders between the United States and Canada. Some days involve longer travel segments between regions, but the route is carefully planned to balance comfortable travel with immersive sightseeing, supported by experienced Tour Leaders and smooth border logistics.

Optional Activities: Optional experiences may include additional city excursions, cultural performances, scenic cruises and local food tastings. These activities are available at extra cost and may require advance booking or minimum participation numbers.

Seasonal & Climate Notes: Weather can vary significantly across regions and countries — from warm summers in cities to cooler conditions near lakes, coastlines and higher elevations. Temperatures may differ noticeably between destinations on the same tour. Packing for layered comfort is recommended.

Packing: Pack lightweight, breathable clothing for warmer regions, layers for cooler evenings or northern destinations, and comfortable walking shoes for sightseeing and outdoor areas. A hat, sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended, along with a small daypack and reusable water bottle for daily excursions.

Solo Travellers: Solo travellers can choose to upgrade to a private room or share accommodation with a fellow traveller of the same gender at no additional cost (subject to availability).
