Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is required for this tour and must cover your entire journey. Your Tour Leader will ask for your insurance details on Day 1.
Included Costs: Meals include all breakfasts and several lunches/dinners; many entrance fees and optional activities are not included.
Nile Felucca Sailing: This tour includes multiple nights aboard a traditional Egyptian felucca on the Nile. Cabins are basic and shared, and facilities are simple, offering an authentic river experience. Expect relaxed days with sailing, deck views, and cultural stops along the river.
Optional Activities: Opportunities for extras include sunrise hot-air ballooning over Luxor, excursions to Abu Simbel, Nubian village visits, and desert jeep or camel safaris. These are available at additional cost and some may require advance booking.
Packing: Bring lightweight, breathable clothing for warm days and layers for cooler evenings, comfortable walking shoes, and swimwear for hotel pools or the Red Sea if included. For cultural and religious site visits, choose modest clothing to cover shoulders, knees, and chest; bring a scarf to cover your hair for mosque visits.
Solo Travellers: Solo travellers can choose to upgrade to a private room, or share accommodation with a fellow traveller of the same gender at no additional cost.
